Job summary

Red Bank Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Red Bank, NJ is hiring a detail-oriented Unit Clerk to support the nursing team in our skilled facility. You will maintain resident records, process orders, answer phones, and coordinate care with families and providers.

This full-time, 8am–4pm role features no weekends and a pay rate of $20.50–$23.00/hour, plus medical/dental/vision, PTO, daily pay, holiday pay, 401(k) match, and direct deposit to support a stable, friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous clerical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Must have a CNA certification in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident medical records and nursing unit documentation.
• Process physician orders and update resident information.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule appointments, transportation, and diagnostic services as needed.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• File, scan, and manage confidential documents in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge paperwork.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
