PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) seeks a Transportation/Support role to provide resident transport to appointments and activities, assist with boarding, and document care updates. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and prompt, empathetic service to residents and PMMA staff.

Starting pay is $15.00 with premium pay plan, with additional pay based on experience; benefits are offered for full-time employment.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent desired.
• Valid driver’s license according to the laws of the state.
• A good driving record that meets PMMA insurance coverage standards.
• CPR certified or willingness to obtain.
• Certified Nursing Assistant desired.
• Previous 6 months of experience in long-term care desired.

Responsabilidades

• Provides resident transportation to and from appointments, activities and events on and off Community property.
• Assists residents in boarding and exiting bus/car/van and into appointment or activity.
• Transfers residents using appropriate safety equipment and procedures.
• Observes and describes resident behavior and status; reports changes to the charge nurse and updates care plans.
• Completes required documentation; maintains vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Operates vehicle(s) safely and reports unsafe equipment; performs safety inspections.
