Job summary

Haven of Champaign in Champaign, IL seeks a compassionate CNA Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and assist with daily care. You must hold an Illinois CNA license, have a valid driver’s license, and be dependable and team‑oriented for a full‑time role.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA in Illinois.
• Must have a valid Illinois driver's license.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and medical staff.
• Reliable and punctual with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Treat and care for residents and their property with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Assist RNs and LPNs with services necessary to meet the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents as assigned.
• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the facility and vehicle as needed.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and secure throughout transportation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly transportation vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, families, and medical providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident transportation.
• Arrive on time and reliably report for assigned shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
