Job summary

Atrium Centers is seeking a Certified CNA who will also drive residents to appointments and assist on the floor. You will perform care tasks per the approved plan, maintain records, and ensure safety and infection control on a daily basis.

This on-site role blends direct resident care with transportation duties, offering competitive benefits and the opportunity to contribute to a 100% employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• Completed CNA course and active state license.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Records experience in a long-term care setting (preferred).
• ART certification (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Positive, can-do attitude and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and/or provide transportation for residents to and from appointments.
• Assist residents safely during transport and appointments.
• Drive center van (similar in size to a minivan).
• Transport a maximum of two patients at a time.
• Split duties 50/50 between floor CNA responsibilities and transport driving.
• Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan.
• Assist with daily activities, personal care, and resident safety.
• Maintain and respond to resident medical record requests.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation, including vitals.
• Report any violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately.
