Job summary

Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing care team. As a CNA, you will provide individualized care, assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor health status, and report changes to the nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents per plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility and safe transfers.
• Monitor residents' health status and vitals; report changes to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
