Job summary
Illinois Nursing Academy is seeking a BNATP Instructor to deliver comprehensive training in the Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program. The instructor will teach theory and hands-on CNA skills to help students pass the state certification and excel in their roles.

Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license required.
- Minimum 2 years CNA or related nursing experience.
- Train the Trainer Course Completion required.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Proficiency with educational software/tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans aligned with state regulations and curriculum.
- Deliver engaging lectures on nursing topics.
- Provide hands-on CNA skill training with clinical practice.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, exams, and demonstrations.
- Offer constructive feedback and support for student improvement.
- Maintain attendance, grades, and progress records.
- Ensure training equipment and supplies are available and maintained.
- Stay updated on nursing education and healthcare practices.
- Assist curriculum development and revisions as needed.
- Comply with state and federal CNA training regulations.
