Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant Trainee at Father Baker Manor Sub Acute to train with certified staff and become a CNA. Training includes classroom and clinical components. Trainees assist residents with daily living activities per individualized care plans.

This role offers the THRIVE program support, including education and a Workforce Coach to guide the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
• Communication skills including tone, respectfulness and non-verbal cues.
• Ability to learn the application of the assessment into the aging process (height/weight, skin integrity, ADLs, bowel/bladder control).

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living as trained.
• Assist and participate in resident care under supervision.
• Engage in training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and participate in the THRIVE program during the first year.
