Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville, NY is seeking a CNA Trainee to begin a certified nursing assistant training program under supervision. The role offers a starting rate of $16.85 per hour with increases after certification and requires availability for training classes and clinical hours.

You will gain hands-on experience while participating in the CNA training program, learning under licensed staff and instructors to provide compassionate resident care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or in a high school equivalency program.
• Interest in pursuing CNA career and ability to follow directions.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and compassionate demeanor.
• Must meet all CNA training program and facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the facility's Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
• Observe and learn resident care techniques, safety procedures, and infection control practices.
• Assist with resident care activities as permitted under training program guidelines and supervision.
• Practice CNA skills through demonstrations, return demonstrations, and supervised clinical experiences.
• Communicate resident observations and concerns to nursing staff and instructors.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times.
• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention protocols.
• Attend all required classes, clinical training sessions, and educational activities.
• Complete training assignments, skills evaluations, and competency requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the training program.
