Living Center at Geneva South in Geneva, NY seeks a Nurse Aide Trainee to provide daily resident care under supervision. You will assist with care plans, participate in care conferences, and support training periods with direct supervision by program staff.
After training, supervision transitions to Nurse Managers and shift leads as you await NYS Competency Exam results. Requirements include reading and writing English, enrollment in a State-approved Nurse Aide Training Program, and preferably
Under the direction of supervisory nursing staff, provides daily care for residents to whom assigned. Assists in development of nursing care plans by participating in care conferences. The individual may be a trainee for no more than a maximum of 120 days from their date of hire. During classroom training time, the trainee is directly supervised by the Program Coordinator, Program Primary Instructor, and possibly additional trainers when utilized. During supervised clinical training time on resident unites, the trainee is directly supervised by the Program Coordinator, Program Primary Instructor, and possibly additional Nurse Aide Trainee Clinical Supervisors when utilized. Following completion of formal training, nurse aide trainees may be supervised by Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, and Team Leaders on all 3 shifts during work time as they await results of NYS Competency Exam. na
