HCR Home Care in Rochester, NY is offering a one-day CNA Transition Class to obtain a Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate, enabling you to work with home care patients in Monroe County. Earn while you learn with this NYSDOH-approved program and start seeing patients soon after completion.

The role transitions from CNA to HHA with training opportunities and immediate job prospects in the Rochester area.

Formación

• Active NYS CNA Certificate required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Successful completion of HCR's Reading and Math Test.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• After offer acceptance: immunization records/MMRs.
• After offer acceptance: CHRC background check, fingerprinting, drug test and TB testing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide health-related services as outlined in the plan of care authorized by a physician and established by a nurse or licensed therapist.
• Assist with personal hygiene, housekeeping and related supportive tasks in the patient’s home.
• Report changes in client’s condition to supervising professional immediately.
• Ensure the safety of the patient and family; maintain HIPAA compliance.
