Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Surgical Prep and Recovery team. The role involves clerical and patient care duties under licensed nurses, with a schedule of three 9-hour shifts weekly, Monday through Friday, 0800–1730, no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, documentation, and coordination of services while ensuring infection control and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already held per SAHS crosswalk.
• Six months CNA experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff with clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care under supervision of licensed nurses.
• Document services and supplies accurately for revenue management.
• Assist Licensed Independent Practitioner in patient care activities.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and families.
