Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Quick Response CNA (STNA) for weekend shifts in the Blue Ash, OH area. This role provides urgent support during active stages of dying, serving as a steady presence for patients and families and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

The position requires state-certified nurse aide status with an active certificate, at least 6 months of hospice or nursing aide experience, and the ability to learn clinical software.

Qualifications

• Certification as a state nurse's aide with an active, unrestricted license.
• Minimum 6 months of hospice or nurse aide experience.
• Must have completed the Ohio Health Department competency test with 75 hours.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and care team.
• Ability to learn clinical software and electronic record systems.
• Validity of driver's license and reliable vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent support during active stages of dying as part of the Even More Care program.
• Be a steady presence for families during critical moments.
• Respond quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs.
• Travel to the Blue Ash, OH office as required.

As a Quick Response CNA (STNA), you will be a vital part of our Even More Care program, providing urgent support during active stages of dying. You will serve as the steady presence families can count on, responding quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs. CNA (STNA) Weekends:

Saturday to Sunday, 8:00 pm - 8:30 am (every other weekend)

Travel to the office in Blue Ash, OH., is required.

CNA (STNA) Weekends Qualifications:

• Must be certified by the state as a nurse's aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.
• 6 months of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurse Aide is required.
• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
• Must have a reliable vehicle/transportation, a valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.
