Job summary

Laurelwood-Assisted-Living- is seeking a compassionate CNA/STNA/Caregiver to support seniors with daily tasks and care needs. You will report changes to the supervising nurse and help residents with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and respect in every interaction.

Ideal candidates hold CNA or STNA certification, demonstrate strong English skills, and actively foster positive resident and family relationships. Prior long-term care experience is a plus, but not essential.

Qualifications

• CNA or STNA certification is required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
• Fluent reading, writing, speaking and understanding of English.
• No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation.
• Passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to care plans.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition.
• Communicate in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
