Job summary

Elite Medical Staffing is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for skilled nursing facilities in Cambridge, OH. This per diem role offers flexible shifts (2p-10p, 10p-6a) at $22/hour, with the ability to pick assignments that fit your schedule and availability.

We value dependable CNAs who can adapt to various facilities, assist with ADLs, document vitals, and work closely with the nursing team. A valid OH CNA certification, reliable transportation, and willingness to pass background

Qualifications

• Active OH CNA Certification.
• 1+ year of experience in skilled nursing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Record patients’ information and vital signs in EMR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance with proper body mechanics.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other observations.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with meals and hydration when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control practices.
• Support the nursing team in delivering resident-centered care.
• Communicate concerns to onsite supervisor and agency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

A CNA picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMRto record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics
• Obtain and document vital signs and other resident observations as assigned
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
• Report changes in resident condition, behavior, or concerns to the nursing team
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment while following infection control practices
• Support the nursing team in delivering quality resident-centered care
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active CNA Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered OHCNA Certification
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR/BLS
• Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• Flu Vaccine (during Flu season)
• Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
