Elite Medical Staffing is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Long-Term Care assignments in Canal Winchester, OH. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling, $22/hour pay, and the opportunity to pick shifts that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Active OH CNA Certification
• 1+ year of experience in long-term care
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening

Responsabilités

• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs using EMR Matrix
• Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation support
• Obtain and document vital signs and other observations as assigned
• Monitor residents and report changes to the nursing team
• Respond promptly to resident requests and deliver compassionate, resident-centered care
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control, and regulations
• Communicate concerns to onsite supervisor and agency

Responsibilities

A CNA picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a long-term care facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMR Matrix to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, repositioning, and support with ambulation as needed
• Obtain and document vital signs and other resident observations as assigned
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or overall well-being to the nursing team
• Respond promptly to resident requests and provide compassionate resident-centered care
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding support when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active CNA Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in long-term care
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered OH CNA Certification
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR/BLS
• Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• Flu Vaccine (during Flu season)
• Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
