Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of employment required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred but not required.
• Person-centered, respectful, and timely care with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
• Respond promptly to call lights and care needs to ensure safety and comfort.
• Help residents maintain independence and dignity per individual care plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized resident environment and follow infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietary staff, therapists, and leadership to ensure holistic care.
• Attend required in-services and team meetings to stay current on practices and policies.
