Job summary

MaineHealth in Damariscotta, ME is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) I to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role supports patient care within a Safe Patient Family Centered Care model.

Eligible candidates include those with 0-1 years of CNA experience and may receive sign-on bonuses; full-time and part-time positions are available with prorated bonuses for part-time hires.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: CNA license required; BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Less than six months of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• The CNA I provides basic level CNA care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists with administration of nursing care to designated patients as part of the health care team.
