Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors in Damariscotta, ME. CNAs assist with daily care needs, promoting comfort, safety, and independence, with flexible scheduling and support from a responsive care team.

This role emphasizes one-on-one care, independence, and ongoing clinical support, with opportunities for advancement (CRMA, CNA-M, LPN) and mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance including transfers and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs and health observations as directed.
• Support daily care tasks including light housekeeping related to care and meal prep.
• Assist with meal service and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence.
• Report changes in condition promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Identify and report safety risks or environmental concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
