Job summary

Sanford is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in South Dakota to provide resident-centered nursing care during scheduled periods in a long-term care setting. You will deliver daily living assistance, monitor and record vital signs, assist with mobility, and support the care plan under supervision of a registered nurse, adhering to infection control policies.

The role requires CNA certification (or active enrollment) and a commitment to ongoing education, with flexibility for day, evening, night

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and provided by facility.
• Yearly continuing education minimum 12 hours required.
• Must be 16+ years old; eligible for CNA role under certification process.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and meals.
• Document resident interactions and vital signs; communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with transfers and mobility; ensure infection prevention and PPE use.
• Support housekeeping, laundry and wellness programs as needed.

Education
