Job summary

Sanford Health in South Dakota is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the care team under RN supervision in a 40-hour work week.

This full-time role offers a $19.00–$25.50 hourly wage, 401(k) with match, PTO from day one, and leadership and growth opportunities within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with State Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually.
• Must be 16 years or older; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Record vital signs and monitor changes in residents' condition.
• Support dining and mobility needs and assist with transfers.
• Document resident interactions and communicate with the RN and charge nurse.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE use.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry support as needed.
