Job summary

Palm Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a nursing assistant to care for residents under RN/LPN supervision. You will perform routine resident care, assist with activities of daily living and maintain accurate patient records.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, feeding and personal care, and reporting changes promptly to the care team. A state-approved NA program graduate with registry entry is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED or equivalent and related training preferred.
• Graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program.
• Active entry into state nurse aide registry within 120 days of employment.
• Freedom from illegal drugs and workplace substance abuse.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and measurements.
• Provide basic care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with grooming, dressing and feeding as needed.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to supervisor.
