Job summary

The Thornapple Manor in Hastings, MI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant and shuttle driver for a full-time day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). The role combines resident transport to appointments with core nursing assistance and daily care tasks to support residents’ well-being.

You will operate vehicle lifts, maintain vehicle safety, assist residents in transfers, and support meal service and activities as part of a collaborative care team. CPR/First Aid and a valid CNA license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a competency evaluated nursing assistant under Michigan law.
• Must possess a valid State of Michigan Chauffeur’s License and a clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and log inspections.
• Operate vehicle lift and assist residents in/out of vehicles.
• Provide routine nursing care and assist with daily activities.
• Assist with meals and feeding as indicated.
• Record intake/output and monitor vitals as instructed.
