Job summary

Jackson Manor is hiring a Shower Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care in a senior living setting. You will assist with grooming, feeding, mobility, vital signs, and daily activities, while supporting a warm, team-oriented environment.

The role requires Missouri CNA certification, a state exam, and strong communication with residents and families. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding
• Assist resident with range of motion exercises
• Provide for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assist residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Education

High School diploma or GED

Missouri CNA certification

State-issued exam

Long-term care experience (6 months)
