Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Shower Aide for the Rehabilitation Center of Independence in Independence, MO. You will assist residents with showers and personal hygiene, under supervision, while supporting daily activities and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Compassion, patience and genuine care for elderly residents.
• Ability to work well with residents, families, and team members.
• Reliable, positive and dependable in daily duties.
• 6 months CNA or clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with showers and personal hygiene.
• Provide routine nursing care under the direction of the Charge Nurse/RN Supervisor.
• Support daily activities such as making beds, cleaning bedside areas, and keeping fresh water available.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for residents.
