Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a CNA Scheduler to assist with scheduling the Nursing Department staff under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role supports nursing administration and payroll processes to ensure residents receive consistent care.

Qualifications

• Active CNA License required.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules staff and prepares weekly nursing schedule
• Notifies staff of schedule and necessary schedule changes
• Receives incoming calls and directs appropriately to address nursing scheduling issues
• Obtains permission from the Director of Nursing/Administrator prior to scheduling overtime or nursing registry personnel
• Adjusts schedules as needed to accommodate changes, i.e., illness, vacation, PTO days, etc.
• Collaborates with Nursing Administration daily to ensure adequate and appropriate staff is allocated
• Assists nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed
• Assists payroll manager with processing of weekly payroll and appropriate nursing hours
