Job summary

Friendship Haven Health & Rehabilitation Center in Friendswood, TX is seeking a dedicated CNA/Restorative Aide for full-time, on-site work. You will deliver routine restorative nursing care in accordance with each resident's assessment and care plan, under supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining residents' dignity, documenting care on the Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet, and notifying the restorative nurse coordinator of problems or changes.

Qualifications

• CNA in good standing in Texas is required
• Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program preferred
• 6 months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors.
• Ensures resident’s needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity.
• Documents care on Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet.
• Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of any problems, referrals or reassessments needed.
• Reports significant change in resident’s condition or motivational level to the charge nurse.
