Aegis Therapies is hiring a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care for its Rosewood Heights and Rose Villas locations in Killeen, Texas. This full-time CNA-based role will involve delivering wellness, fitness, and restorative programs alongside the rehab therapy team.

Full restorative training is provided onsite; CNA certification is required. The position emphasizes compassionate care for seniors with opportunities for professional growth and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• Personal trainer/exercise specialist certification preferred.
• Experience with senior populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation and work with the therapy team to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive onsite restorative training; CNA certification required.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care).

Setting: Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care Wellness

Location: Rosewood Heights and Rose Villas - Killeen, TX

As a CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care, you will:

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training provided onsite. No restorative experience necessary, (CNA Certification Required)
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Exclusive restorative responsibilities (Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care) with limited or none of the "less desirable" tasks that often accompany a CNA position.
