Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Resident Care Specialist - CNA to deliver quality daily nursing care to residents in a Houston facility. You will perform direct care under licensed supervision, document activities, and adhere to facility policies and infection control practices.

The role requires a current Texas CNA certification, strong communication and organization, and the ability to multitask in a busy care environment. Weekend/holiday shifts are possible as part of ongoing coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Texas.
• 2 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Computer literacy with Outlook/Office/Internet required.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization, and a positive attitude.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of a nurse.
• Document care and observations in accordance with policies.
• Perform routine resident care tasks and assist with daily living activities.
• Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for resident care.
• Report observations to nursing supervisor promptly.
• Ensure privacy and dignity of residents at all times.
