Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking Direct Care professionals to support individuals with daily living activities and community involvement in the Southcoast area, including Taunton, Fall River and Mansfield. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, meals, and transportation as needed, while following Individual Service Plans and maintaining residents’ rights.

The role requires a valid MA CNA license, a caring nature, and willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid MA CNA license.
• Be compassionate and enjoy helping others.
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record are required.
• TB screening and a physical are required upon hire, with TB updates every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily activities and maintain structured routines, including house meetings, community outings, meal prep, activities of daily living, personal care, family visitation facilitation, and medication distribution while upholding human rights at all times.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support and individualized programs as identified in Individual Service Plans.
• De-escalation and crisis management may be required to ensure safety of others.

What do I need to join the team?

• Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts C.N.A. Licence

What Does the Job Entail?

You will provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes but is not limited to house meetings, individual community outings, meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, family visitation facilitation, and medication distribution while maintaining human rights at all times. As a Direct Care professional you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:
