Job summary

Allpro Homecare is seeking an Experienced CNA or PSS to join our team in Lewiston, ME. We provide quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population, with a flexible schedule and weekly pay. Online training and support staff are available to help you succeed.

Responsibilities include helping clients with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and daily activities. You will report any issues to the administrator and respond quickly in emergencies while adhering to the client service plan.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA license in good standing.
• Current state PSS license in good standing.
• At least 1 year experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare setting.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client).
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
