Job summary

Storybrook Care and Rehabilitation in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant PRN to join a compassionate team dedicated to rehabilitation and skilled nursing.

You will perform duties per policies, conduct rounds every shift and every two hours, verify resident IDs before care, report missing ID bands, and assist with daily living activities, including beds and water provision.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a CNA.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Ability to relate to ill, elderly and emotionally upset residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and procedures, nursing care procedures, and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at the start of shift and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identification before administering care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admissions coordinator immediately.
• Assist with activities of daily living and care tasks (beds, bedside tables, water).
