Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Assistant certification.
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Six months experience in providing personal care in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Models a servant and solutions oriented attitude towards others.
• Ensure resident safety by reporting hazards.
• Make beds and keep care areas clean and orderly.
• Respect residents' rights and promote independence.
• Assist with safe resident transfers using gait belt.
