Job summary

Trinity Terrace, a long-standing senior living community in Fort Worth, is seeking PRN CNAs for its Assisted Living/Memory Support department. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and communicating changes to licensed staff.

Requirements include Texas CNA certification, first aid and CPR, and strong communication. Prior LTC experience is a plus. Benefits and on-call schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas State Board of Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
• Must possess current first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and nutrition.
• Record vital signs and input/output data per policy.
• Document patient care activities and observations.
• Report health status changes to the licensed nurse.
• Communicate patient status clearly to other caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide supplies and assistance for unit procedures under supervision of a licensed professional.

Trinity Terrace is seeking PRN CNAs for our Assisted Living/Memory Support Department! Trinity Terrace, a beautiful and vibrant senior living community that has been serving Fort Worth seniors for more than 100 years, is currently looking for compassionate and friendly CNAs to join our team!

Work Schedule

PRN/On-Call

About The Role

• Provide assistance in activities of daily living and complete necessary tasks to promote patient health, including assisting patients with basic hygiene needs, maintaining an optimum level of mobility and assisting patients with nutritional intake, as needed
• Collect patient data, including vital signs, input/output and other delegated measurements in accordance with unit/facility policy and standards of care
• Document objective data and routine aspects of patient care
• Recognize and report abnormalities and/or changes in the patient’s health status and responses to treatment to the licensed nurse
• Promote continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for which care is provided
• Provide necessary supplies, support and assistance to medical staff and patients for unit specific procedures, under the direct supervision of a licensed professional

About You

• This position requires current certification by the Texas State Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Must have first aid card and CPR certification.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
• Experience in a long term care facility as a CNA is preffered but not required.
• Other desired soft skills: Independent, problem solver, great communicator, team player.
