Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center, an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, seeks a dedicated CNA to support patient care within a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center between Raleigh and Durham. You will assist with patient transport, documentation, and direct patient assistance in a fast-paced ASC setting.

Required CNA I certification and BLS, with 1+ year hospital/ASC experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential; this on-site role offers competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma with CNA I certification.
• BLS certification required through an AHA/ARC accredited course.
• At least 1 year of previous hospital-based or ambulatory surgical center experience.
• Previous experience with medical records and computer skills preferred.
• CNA II certification preferred.

Southpoint Surgery Center (SPSC), an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, is a new Ambulatory Surgery Center located between Raleigh and Durham in the Durham-Southpoint area. SPSC will provide a differentiated outpatient delivery model focused on providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for surgical and related ancillary care for patients. SPSC is a multi-specialty 22,298 sq. ft. facility accommodating the following: Ortho, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, General, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Vascular, and Pain. Experience, Training & Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with documented certification as a nursing assistant
• CNAI certification required; CNA II certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; certification must be through an AHA or ARC accredited course.
• At least one (1) year of previous experience in a hospital based or ambulatory surgical center
• Previous experience with medical records and computer skills preferred
