Job summary

Grand Living in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-focused care and support independence for daily living activities. You will play a key role in delivering First Class Happiness to residents and guests.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor wellness, document care, and collaborate with health, culinary, lifestyle, and hospitality teams to create meaningful experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience with seniors preferred.
• CNA certification required by state assignment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting.
• Support residents according to their care plans while promoting dignity and independence.
• Observe residents and communicate changes to the nursing team.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families in a warm, engaging atmosphere.
• Participate in community activities, dining experiences, and events.
• Collaborate with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver exceptional care.
