Job summary

American Senior Communities' Countryside Meadows is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich residents' lives through engaging, age-appropriate activities. This full-time day position includes some weekends and emphasizes warmth, compassion, and teamwork with the care staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; CNA credentials are preferred and state-approved CNA training may be provided by the community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence).
• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities for residents.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents' emotional and social needs.
