Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking caring team members to support residents with compassion and respect in a senior living environment. You will help onboard new teammates, encourage daily activity participation, and contribute to a culture of CARE—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Preferred qualifications include experience working with the geriatric population and CNA certification, with willingness to obtain CNA within six months.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with geriatric population is preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; open to getting CNA certification within the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and compassion to residents.
• Onboard new teammates as a positive team member.
• Encourage residents to participate in daily activities to support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
• Recruit, organize, train and recognize volunteers to supplement the activity program.
• Involve residents' families, the community and volunteers in activities to increase participation.
