Job summary

The position is in North Carolina within an Assisted Living Community, providing assistance with activities of daily living per Care Plan and physician-directed orders to residents while maintaining dignity and safety during shifts.

Requires CNA or Personal Care Aide certification (80-hour) with training within 6 months of hire; ability to read, write, and follow directions; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; SBI and TB screening clearance; 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain CNA or Personal Care Aide Certificate (80-Hour) within 6 months of hire.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Minimum 18 years old; clean SBI record; two-step TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities per Care Plan.
• Respond to hand bell or signaling calls.
• Assist residents with meals and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with dressing, bathing, grooming and ambulation.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation.
• Work with ED/Administrator/Staff and orient new residents.
