Qualifications

• Prior long-term care or hospital environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Record intake, outputs, vital signs and care documentation.
• Support environmental and food service tasks as assigned.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards.

Education

High School Diploma

AHA CPR certification

MOAB class

Certified Nursing Assistant certification

75 hours in accredited nursing program

EMT or Paramedic Certification

Patient Care Technician/Assistant Certification

Home Health Aide Certification

Nurse Aide program completion

Massachusetts CNA licensure (out-of-state equivalent allowed)
