Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults in Whiteville, NC and surrounding areas. Competitive pay range $15–$18/hour, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Current TB test or screening as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have government-issued ID.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Ability to document care accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and mobility activities.
• Support patient comfort, safety, and well-being; follow care plans and caregiver instructions.
• Document care as required and communicate observations to clinical staff.
• Build positive relationships with patients and families; ensure safe home environment.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
• Ability to document care accurately
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required for patient care
• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility activities
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly
• Ability to work in a home care environment safely and effectively

Preferred

• Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile patients
• Home health experience

Schedule & Flexibility

• Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available
