Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College seeks a Program Director for CNA and PCT offerings. The role oversees development, implementation, expansion, and monitoring across campuses, ensuring alignment with state credentialing and licensure requirements. Periodic travel to multiple sites is required.

The position reports to the Dean of Nursing and requires teaching ALHS/CNA courses, curriculum oversight, and coordination with advisory committees to meet program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN) with a current valid Georgia license.
• Two years of nursing experience as an RN.
• One year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility (nursing home).
• Supervisory/Director experience including scheduling and training employees and coordinating with facility approvers/regulators and standards.
• Travel to campus and high school locations where program faculty are located, and courses are offered.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Certified Nurse Aide Course and Allied Health Sciences courses as scheduled.
• Develop course outlines, goals, and objectives, follow curricula to create lesson plans, syllabi, goals, and objectives.
• Develop and assess Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) and General Education Learning Outcomes; submit reports.
• Oversee program curriculum development and advise Dean of Health Sciences.
• Ensure program meets accreditation benchmarks and maintains clinical education affiliates.
