Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The PCT/CNA-Float provides safe basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observing patients for physical/emotional changes. Responsibilities also include recording information in patient charts, communicating with the Patient Care Team, and potentially providing constant supervision to patients. Duties may vary by department. The role requires floating to various departments within the medical center.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNA - Certified Nurses Assistant
• CPR - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
• 6 months experience supporting physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs of patients
