Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The PCT/CNA-Float provides safe basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observing patients for physical/emotional changes. Responsibilities include recording information in patient charts, communicating with the care team for continuity of care, and possibly providing supervision to patients. Duties may vary based on department needs, and the role involves floating to various departments within the medical center.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
• CPR American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
• 6 months experience supporting patients' physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs
