Responsibilities

• Presents personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping.
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders as taught by a nurse.
• Assists with range of motion exercises and blood glucose monitoring.
• Care for bed-bound patients and incontinence care.
• Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
