Job summary

Houston Physicians Hospital is seeking a dedicated Full Time CNA/ Patient Care Tech to join our team. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and support the Med/Surg RNs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories is required.
• Ability to interview patients and collect relevant information.

• Adaptability to change with a solid foundation in surgical patient care.

CNA/Patient Care Tech at Houston Physicians Hospital

Duties will include stocking, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and, assisting Med/Surg RNs as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
• Patient Interviewing skills
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
