Crisp Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Vent Unit on a PRN, part-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at our Cordele location. The role supports nursing staff, provides basic patient care, and ensures safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a current BLS certification (or commits to obtaining it within three months of hire).

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CNA certification required; BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum up to six months of related work experience or equivalent education/training.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; Motor Vehicle Report required on hire.

Responsabilités

• Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team with positive interpersonal communication skills when communicating with patients, families, visitors, physicians, staff and other departments of the organization.
• Provides direct support to the nursing staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Observes and reports patients status to the Registered Nurse.
• Follows the Nurse Manager and nursing staff instructions and directions.
• Alerts the nursing staff and medical staff to observed changes in the patient’s condition.
• Assists patient with basic hygiene, hair and oral care as required.
• Complies with CRHS and department safety, infection control and performance improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of quality care and services.
• Maintains and expands knowledge of medical terminology.
• Documents care provided in the medical record.
• Presents a professional image to CRHS nursing, clinical and medical staff members, patient, families and visitors.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.
