Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients and orient to unit procedures.
• Respond to patient needs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with implementing nursing care plan and delegated tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment.
• Access medication/supply room to retrieve care items.
• Keep unit clean and well stocked; maintain patient environment.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate charging of services.
• Engage in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Comply with HIP and complete assigned duties as needed.
