Job summary

Salina-Regional-Health-Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver quality patient care in the clinic setting. The role includes scheduling patient appointments, taking vital signs, transporting patients and providing clerical support under the supervision of nursing staff or physicians.

Responsibilities extend to assisting with interventions, coordinating with other departments as needed, and ensuring a clean, stocked environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant training course
• 1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred
• Basic Life Support certification completed within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care as assigned by the clinic team lead, nursing staff or physicians.
• Schedule patient appointments and take vital signs.
• Transport patients within the clinic and assist with interventions as directed by a professional nurse.
• Provide clerical support and interact with other departments as needed under supervision.
• Assist with cleaning and restocking supplies as part of routine duties.
