Job summary

Salina-Regional-Health-Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver quality patient care in the clinic setting. Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant training course
• 1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred
• Basic Life Support certification completed within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care as assigned by the clinic team lead, nursing staff or physicians.
• Schedule patient appointments and take vital signs.
• Transport patients within the clinic and assist with interventions as directed by a professional nurse.
• Provide clerical support and interact with other departments as needed under supervision.
• Assist with cleaning and restocking supplies as part of routine duties.

Job description

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing quality patient care as assigned by team lead, professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting. This includes scheduling patient appointments, taking vital signs, transporting patients, clerical support, and helping the professional nurse with interventions. The CNA also interacts with other departments as needed to perform cleaning, restock supplies, all under the direction of their appropriate supervisor.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or GED preferred

Completion of a certified nursing assistant training course

1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification

Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association- Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
