Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, vital signs, transfers, incontinent care, oral hygiene, and assisting with medication administration and care planning with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts CNA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temp, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Assist with resident transfers using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
• Help with incontinent care (bedpans/urinals).
• Provide oral hygiene and denture care.
• Assist with medication administration and treatments.
• Participate in resident assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care.
• Promote a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.
